1997-2009            Directed a six-week intensive Summer Program in Punjab Studies held in Chandigarh.

                             Activities included the teaching of Punjabi; lectures by scholars in history, art, and culture; meetings with
                             artists, religious heads, and community workers; and weekend field trips to sites in the Punjab plains and hills.
                             During its operation, 182 scholars from 71 universities in 10 countries participated.
